摘要:In this talk,I will first give an introduction to several polynomials of knots, graphs and matroids,then I shall present some problems well-known and open for many years in their fields and also share some problems bothering me in my research career.

报告人简介:金贤安教授,厦门大学本科和研究生提前攻博,北京大学博士后,2012年起任厦门大学教授和博导。主要在图论、纽结论、拟阵论和数学化学领域从事研究工作,已发表学术论文80多篇,包括在Adv. Appl. Math.、Forum Math. Sigma、J. Comb. Theory Ser. A、J. Graph Theory,Proceedings of the AMS等著名期刊。先后主持国家自然科学基金4项,参加重点项目1项和天元基金项目多项。曾应邀在美国第33届国际拓扑及其应用大会和作50分钟报告等。主持国家级一流课程1门和国家级教改课题2项。曾获宝钢优秀教师奖(2021年)、国家教学成果二等奖(2018年)和福建省教学成果特等奖(2017年,2021年和2025年)等。兼任福建省运筹学会秘书长,中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专委会常务委员等。已指导毕业博士生11人,硕士生25人。

报告题目2:Twist polynomial as a weight system for set systems

摘要:Recently, Chmutov proved that the partial-dual polynomial considered as a function on chord diagrams satisfies the four-term relation. Deng et al. then proved that this function on framed chord diagrams also satisfies the four-term relation, i.e., is a framed weight system. In this talk, we extend their results to the twist polynomial of a set system by proving that the twist polynomial on set systems satisfies the four-term relation and determines therefore a finite type link invariant. We investigate the behavior of the polynomial with respect to the Hopf algebra structure on the space of binary delta-matroids and show that the twist polynomial selects n primitive elements in degree n.

报告人简介:邓青英,理学博士,湘潭大学数学与计算科学学院副教授。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项,参与国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,并主持湖南省自然科学基金和湖南省教育厅科研项目各1项。在Fundamenta Mathematicae、Journal of Knot Theory and Its Ramifications、Discrete Mathematics、Topology and Its Applications等国际学术期刊发表论文20余篇。此外,担任Mathematical Reviews和Zentralblatt MATH评论员,并为多个国际SCI期刊审稿。

报告题目3:A concise recursive characterization of maximal bipartite planar graphs

摘要:In this talk, we first demonstrate that bipartite-minors, constructed through the deletion and contraction of all edges in a bond, preserve bipartite properties and establish a well-quasi-ordering under the bipartite-minor relation. We then provide concise characterizations of bipartite, planar, and outer-planar bipartite graphs by identifying excluded bipartite-minors. Additionally, we introduce a novel planar operation that generates all maximal bipartite planar graphs starting from a single vertex.

报告题目4:Partial-duals for plane hypermaps

摘要In this talk, we introduce the partial-dual polynomial for hypermaps, extending the concept from ribbon graphs. We discuss the basic properties of this polynomial and characterize it for hypermaps with exactly one hypervertex containing a non-zero constant term. Additionally, we show that the partial-dual polynomial of a prime connected hypermap H is constant if and only if H is a plane hypermap with a single hyperedge.

报告人简介:颜棋,理学博士,兰州大学副教授,硕士生导师。2018年9月至2019年9月在澳大利亚莫纳什大学访学一年。主要从事带子图和delta-拟阵研究,主持国家自然科学基金青年和面上项目各一项。目前在Forum Math. Sigma、J. Combin. Theory Ser. A、European J. Combin.、Adv. Appl. Math.等国内外高水平数学期刊上发表学术论文30余篇。

报告题目5:An Introduction to DP color functions

摘要:DP coloring is a recently introduced generalization of proper coloring that is to take all possible compatibility or repulsion relationships between the colors used on every pair of adjacent vertices into consideration. The DP color function was then defined based on the counting of DP colorings, and turns out to have a direct but complex relationship with the chromatic polynomial. In this talk, I will introduce the basic definition and research status of DP color functions.

报告人简介:张美乔,理学博士,厦门大学助理教授,2024年9月博士毕业于新加坡南洋理工大学。主要研究方向是图和超图的染色、染色多项式及染色函数,研究成果发表在Journal of Graph Theory, Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B, Discrete Mathematics等杂志上。
